Captain - Keith Woodhouse

Kent v Hertfordshire - Keith Woodhouse reports:-

After a close match Kent won 9:7 leaving Herts with only one victory this season.

The last player, Nick Cornish, ground out a win an hour after all the other players had left! Even though at this point we had lost the match.

Thank you to all the players who participated in the matches and tried to retain the cup won last year.

I will be looking for support next season with the aim to regain our cup!

We defaulted 2 boards before arrival so could only field a team of 14.

We then defaulted another 3 boards, 2 due to people not turning up and one where the player arrived after the hour cut off point.

The team performed well considering and we only lost 9:7.

This means we have lost all of our matches to date!
