SCCU Under 14 Final - Ladbrooke School, Potters Bar

Saturday 5th July 2003

Our young Herts failed to win the SCCU Under 14 / Under 90 competition by the slimmest of margins. After the first round we were 3 points adrift of Oxfordshire with 5 out of a possible 12. The second round saw a fine comeback with 8 points. All rested on the last two games. One point would've sufficed but it was not to be.

It is easy to be disappointed but a year ago we weren't even close to making the final.

Well done to Sussex, a county that has had a strong youth policy for years.
